MSU Denver bested by Utah State; Peter scores 3 goals
MSU Denver’s club lacrosse season began with a rocky start. Feb. 24th marked the first home game for the Roadrunners ending in defeat against the Utah State Aggies 8-14.
The Utah State Aggies started off strong scoring 6 points during the first quarter while MSU didn’t score until the second quarter with 4 points.
MSU Denver midfielder Braedon Peters (10) was the highest scorer making three out of the eight goals. Alongside making three goals Peters also had three ground balls and one assist.
The Roadrunners club lacrosse team so far has won two games; one against the Washington Bears (14-5) and the UT-San Antonio Roadrunners (15-10) and lost to the Montana State Bobcats (6-21).
